A good start to your engineering career
Pros
Hired me with no experience at all with a decent starting salary, great coworkers and immediate supervisors, gained lots of experience with various firmware suites and concepts, fairly laid-back work environment, good benefits including free health/dental and very generous holiday and personal time, the projects that you're assigned to can be very rewarding, work-life balance for most junior engineers is great
Cons
Not much opportunity for advancement, absolutely no transparency at all in terms of project status and internal decisions (I had to find out through hearsay that the project I was working on was canceled instead of being notified by my superiors), company promotes an unpleasant 'tight-lipped' work environment, potential for very short notice for travel (and reimbursement is a nightmare)
