Pros

Great bunch of people. I really enjoyed working with the North American Human Resources Director. BUT! You will need some guts and thick skins to work with her. If you do not mind criticism, you will learn a great deal of work ethic from her.

Cons

Several things needs to be covered: 1. EXTREMELY out dated HR system. 300+ employees's vacation balance , employee profile is tracked with Excel. Recruitment are done via searching resume. They do not use the effective way to get candidate. Time clock system is done via a 10+ year old computer running. Before I left, they were trying to write an in house time system which can be easily purchased through ADP. 2. HORRIBLE Work-Life Balance. At the interview, they will tell you that this job is 8:30 to 5:30 and overtime if needed. And most likely till 7:00 p.m. When they tell you that, they are not kidding. They work till 7:00 p.m. mostly and during the year end holiday season 11:00 is common near pay day. Mostly it is due to their extremely out-dated time track system because everything will be done via manual 3. One job Cover all. I guess you can say this is a great learning opportunity. However, good luck with your Excel skill. You will need them a lot, and I mean it! 4. The CRAMPED working condition. Yes their work office for HR is really depressing. Walls of cubical and it is all grey. Building is more than 10 years old. Water from the filter tastes horrible, full of iron. There is no outside view. Seriously nothing. If they happen to turn off the light even in board daylight, The office WILL be dark. 5. Team ISSUE. One of the girl who work there is very judgmental and does not like new comer. Since she is one of the senior member (not that senior), you will most likely to take order from her. Her temper is not that great and is fairly hard to talk to. Always give you this look that makes you uncomfortable. I literally escaped from this after 2 month of employment. If you think you are up for this, please, by all means, go for it. However, if you are like me who want a life outside of work. Do not set foot.
