Pros

Flexible WFH environment and mission-driven. Annual retreats were mostly fun.

Cons

Senior and mid-level management were ineffective leaders, gossipy, and had favorites. Senior Leaders had calendars booked for 100s of meetings and there were no rela opportunities for advancement because they wouldn't include others on think tank teams.

Pros

Flexible schedule, internal promotions, little accountability, ongoing growth and change to improve.

Cons

Little accountability, young and inexperienced upper management, too focused on making the major funders satisified, don’t ask for feedback from staff on the ground, slow turnaround, poor infrastructure.
