Fantastic place to work. Gensler's culture is really unique and carefully nurtured throughout the firm. The organization is set up to align interests, pushing everyone to respond as one team and care about each other. It allows designers to put the all too frequent drama behind them and focus on design quality, on clients, and on their own long term objectives and growth.

Cons

It takes more energy to change things in a large organization yet the Gensler culture ensures there's always a benevolent response to all initiatives.

The female Studio Director was controlling and ineffective. She was out of date on technology, design, and leadership style. I couldn’t stand coming to the office each day, she made everyone’s lives miserable with her high-heeled clomping through the office and country accent.

They hire really inept people
