Scale offers significant impact and people are genuinely invested in making positive change through design. Strong culture and values (if not always realized).

Cons

NY leadership across studios, office, and region has become a boys club (with a couple notable exceptions) and getting worse. Strong performance rewarded with more work in addition to actual role, doesn’t always translate to career growth.

Pros

The Gensler Research Fellowship is a great way to understand Gensler culture and immerse yourself in the workplace. The program coordinator, Kimberly Tuttle, showcased Gensler employees that have worked on exemplary projects, research, and future developments/advacements.

Cons

The program is remote and incorporates fellows from all over the country. Because of this, coordinating meetings in different time zones was a bit difficult.
