Pros

Gensler truly lives up to its reputation as a global design leader. The firm has a strong, collaborative culture where everyone’s voice matters, regardless of level. I’ve had the opportunity to work on high-impact projects with incredibly talented and diverse teams. Leadership is approachable and transparent, and there’s a real investment in professional growth—mentorship, internal learning sessions, and access to cutting-edge tools are all part of the experience. The company cares about design innovation and sustainability in a meaningful way.

Cons

Like most top firms, the pace can be intense at times depending on project deadlines. Work-life balance varies by studio and team.

Pros

Recognition, care for employees, visibility, help and support, fun activities, fun people I received a ton of support from upper management in pursuing any activities or competitions from within the organisation including research possibilities, different projects and finally higher education.

Cons

Extra long hours (typical for architecture), management is poor at planning and scheduling, high expectations, HR is quite bad.
