Pros

A people friendly and enriching environment. Every individual is given the opportunity in the design process and contribute no matter what level of position you are. A good place to learn about the design process from conceptual to construction.

Cons

Difficult to develop a personal style or thesis about design. The environment is very democratic so individual designers might find themselves losing their own voice. Then again this is the dichotomy between school and work and will always prevail in a large firm.
