      Dallas office is all about "appearance", not value for the client

      Pros

      Overall compensation seems to be fair compared to other companies. The office appearance including the reception and employee area is nice and not forboding at all.

      Cons

      No respect for the hard workers that do accurate work and make the office profitable...there is political pressure to look good, instead.

      Pros

      Wonderful culture, high quality of design and encouragement from management for community involvement. I highly enjoyed my time working there, especially as someone who was very involved in the internal culture.

      Cons

      It is definitely a corporate environment, for better or worse. You must work with a variety of people, project types and levels of management to advance and that isn't always an easy task to accomplish.

      Pros

      The culture of the firm is wonderful! On the Architect and Design side there really is tremendous pride in the work that they do that easily spreads to the other departments including Corporate. People are proud to say they work here and most people are friendly, welcoming, and willing to help yuo succeed.

      Cons

      I think there is sometimes a disconnect between the senior management and the lower management in regards to knowing what is actually happening on a day to day basis from the people doing the detailed work.
