Cons

You only get three days to prove your worth in training, which is not nearly enough to showcase your capabilities. They don't tell you immediately that you only have three training days to demonstrate your skills or they don't hire you so it's very unceremonious. If you make staff, you pay entirely out of pocket for all travel for the first 90 days, assuming you last that long. If you don't meet your quotas, they can you. They don't do the best job in training you, and it's a very much sink or swim job

Pros

Meaningful work. Good quality training.

Cons

After a short training period, you are thrown onto the streets, sink or swim. After the trial period, quotas increase, and even long time canvassers can lose their job if they have a streak of bad luck. Asking people to part with their money can be soul sucking if it's not your thing. Dealing with constant rejection, and standing in the sun/heat can get old.

Pros

get to work outside ok training flexible schedule

Cons

you have a quota(understandable) but if you don't make that quota in your first week you're let go immediately regardless of reasons like the weather causing people to not want to stop and talk also you go to the same spots almost daily so everybody has heard it already
