Pros

Greenpeace US is full of ambitious and dedicated people who genuinely care about their work and its impact. Benefits are great, and there is a lot of support for taking time off. Definitely a place where they trust the independence of employees to manage their time and work instead of micromanaging. Great work-life balance. Very value-driven which can make the work very fulfilling.

Cons

While benefits are great, the compensation (base pay) is lacking for both grant-funded and internally paid roles. My position was paid deeply below market rate. This is also not the best place for people who wants someone to tell them what tasks to complete, it's a more independent environment.
