      Incompetent leadership

      Pros

      There are lots of smart individual contributors and line managers. The compensation is above average if not remarkable.

      Cons

      The leadership team above the director level are all clueless as to what they are doing. They don't understand what a product is nor how to deliver it. They change things for the sake of changing them. The biggest problem is that these same leaders don't listen to the people who actually know what they are doing and how to fix the problems that they are facing. Instead they rely on consultants and others who don't even begin to understand the problems.

      Horrible leadership without an understanding of the business. A mean-spiritedness has taken over the upper ranks. A directionless company that is shrinking.

      Salary and bonus are above market. Lots of high end events and travel (normally)

      Cons

      Strategy changes one day to the next but information is carefully guarded so hard to know what today’s goal is. Very old school hierarchical, more interested in optics and managing up than results.
