      Developers, 'lower' managers and Agile coaches are highly skilled Technology has potential, though value is slowly diminishing, since innovation is hampered

      Cons

      Upper management and leadership often get caught up in politics Never enough resources to actually start innovative projects Too much focus on one-off customer-projects for automotive OEMs with lots of duplication of work Very sales-driven organization, commiting to deliverables prior to feasibility discussions Before a product is released, product managers get sent through a lengthy business analysis process that turns into analysis paralysis. At the end, management just checks brief summaries and decides if progress continues, without fully understanding the context. No real career path, unless you have the elbows for it.
