      Does HP still have a company culture?

      Pros

      HP was known to have an awesome customer and employee centered culture. The HPWay was used as a standard to other companies of how to do business and care about both employees and customers.

      Cons

      Similar to many corporations in our modern world, HP has traded these values for what is most popular with all big tech companies that value the stock holder above all and the HPWay is a relic of the past.

      Great people, bad leadership

      Pros

      The people here are great! It’s a casual environment despite the increasing pressure but it’s much better than other tech companies.

      Cons

      The executive leadership seems to be focused on short term objectives. Over the last few years the company has been borrowing money and now has negative shareholder equity. The switch to focus on software and AI is the correct move by the guy leading it has a sales background and likes to brag during coffee talks that he watches YouTube videos to come up to speed. Basically you’ll get paid and co-workers are great but you’ll be spinning your wheels career-wise.
