      Pros

      Colleagues are very knowledgeable; Managers respect the workers and know how to manage the workload. All the situations where I saw some teams lagging behind the managers were very supporting and stood for their direct reports. There is a great life balance. The work environment is incredibly healthy. Generally this is a company which deeply understands that nurturing the well-being of the employee is nurturing their bottom line.

      Cons

      very competitive environment for career progression. It is difficult to develop yourself since some people try to get ahold of a specific area and dominate it (even by making your own work difficult - e.g. purposely postpone code reviews, constantly iterating over small things in code reviews, not disclosing the full details on some part of the code or past issues faced... )

      Love the people and the tech, not so much the upper management

      Pros

      The team are brilliant, people are really helpful and you would enjoy working there.

      Cons

      The only thing that can think of is the career progression which you need to own yourself (SOLO) and the Exec Mgt don't really share the REAL news.. You would spend most of your time on a 'need to know basis'
