      Pros

      large company with know-how and processes, separation from Hewlett-Packard brings new opportunities for investment, fast growth. Great managers at many of the levels (in keeping with the HP tradition) though not everywhere

      Cons

      Cumbersome, salaries and compensation are not up to par with the market, perceived as old school -- and not nimble enough.

      Pros

      I have been working for 11 years at HP while only the last year and a half was spent with the new HP Inc. This isn't the same place I joined. A new hope at the beginning, it proved to be a big disappointment in the end. The only good thing is the work environment which is actually the merit of my colleagues of every HP employee that make this workplace enjoyable.

      Cons

      Parts of the old Hewlett Packard Company were inherited by the newborn HP Inc, unfortunately not the good ones. Nothing of the initial vision of the founding fathers remained. Their HP Way is just a meaningless word of the past and the new HP became just another corporation that is basing its growth on the exploitation of its people for a handful of rich shareholders. Payment is a joke compared to industry standards and when it comes to promotion or benefits for non american/western employees prepare to see injustice and huge discrepancies. It is like Middle East mentality, it matters what passport you hold. If you're Polish, Romanian or Hungarian just be aware that you'll be paid just a fraction of what your western colleagues are getting. Management naively believes that corporate propaganda will pay the employee bills. It doesn't.
