HP laid off many loyal, long-time employees, turning it into a far more difficult and demoralizing place to work. At this point, it feels like there are more people from Dell than from HP itself — and they're making HP a terrible place to be. The cold, manipulative behavior from senior leadership has left many of us feeling disrespected, undervalued, and drained. Leadership seems completely disconnected from HP’s core business and continues to drive the company in the wrong direction. You know why so many customers are complaining? Because instead of focusing on real improvements, teams are pressured to create flashy presentations just to impress senior leadership. There’s little interest in actually fixing problems for customers. Projects that could truly make a difference can’t get funding, while leadership expects value to be delivered for free. Meanwhile, they keep hiring new senior executives at higher salaries and laying off lower-level employees — the very people who understand how the business really works. It’s frustrating and short-sighted .

This company has drastically changed over the last 5 years. Good performance is not rewarded nor does the best person get the job or promotion. LOTS of political nepotism with mediocre people failing up while the real talent either leaves or gets wfr'ed for cheaper talent. Lack of leadership from the top down with constant churn and budget cuts. I used to have real enthusiasm here, but towards the end, HP felt uninspiring and chaotic.
