Pros

Reasonable pay and benefits, once you’ve worked there a few years. BUPA health care for staff, and colleagues are eligible for an HSBC Premier account.

Cons

The call centre micro manages staff to insane levels. Current pay rises are poor. Staff at the bottom level are disposable, and the whole company is set up for the benefit of the senior management team. Processes are slow, clunky, and inefficient. Most of my job involves dealing with things that have gone wrong. Procedures are long winded and complicated, in a way that means customers get poor service.
