Pros

Stable and conservative working environment. Historically low redundancy rate even among mid and back office personnel. Encourage diversity in employee profile.

Cons

Pay will never be top quartile in the market, vis a vis peers. Bonuses suck big time. 6-12 months max for the top 3% performers

Pros

> people friendly, conservative but people are respected as individuals > its a bank's captive unit and not a services company. less work pressure and more for family

Cons

captive units are more people oriented. This can be a bit of pain if people dont like people management skills
