Pros

Work Life balance - Although this is not something ambitious employees look out for.. Opportunity to work in niche ares - Immense scope if you know what you want and where to look, not always possible in other companies

Cons

Unresponsive Senior Mgmt - Work more like slave drives and cost cutters, don't see the quality in work , more concerned with headcount. Slow Career Growth - Owing to freeze on employee strength growth opportunities are limited, growth only possible when somebody above you vacates the "throne"

Pros

People are very competent and friendly They are always willing to answer questions Opportunity to move around the company once qualified is a big plus Due to the large scale of the company and in particular to Canary Wharf office, you can meet people in different divisions as long as your team leader has got good contacts

Cons

The size is often a disadvantage given the difficulty in interacting with many workers
