Pros

the company is environmentally conscious and contributes back to the society. There's also a growing presence and focus in Asia.

Cons

Typical banking culture. fast paced and hectic. sometimes the short term priorities seem to overwhelm long term goals.. overall still a good company though

Pros

There is quite some benefits working at HSBC. Affordable medical and dental coverage especially for those with family. Great pension plan, 401K, FSA, company matched pension after a year of service.

Cons

Hardly will you ever get a pay raise because it's a 'pay per performance oriented company'. The more you sell, the more you make money. Don't pay for overtime, you will have to adjust hours to make up for overtime which could be such a hassle especially when you're short handed.

Stable company. Did not take government funds during crisis.

Cons

slow to make decisions. Continually promotes people that make poor decisions.
