Pros

Received funding and support from USAID BHA/Habitat for Humanity International to conduct research in the humanitarian shelter and settlements field. Everyone was incredible to work with and very welcoming as we were new to this field.

Cons

Would have been interested to see this become more of a pathway to employment with either of these organizations or to be set up with one of their branches internationally (which I know they had plans to do for future fellows).

Pros

Purpose driven community that is dedicated to Habitat for Humanity's vision. Every day is different.

Cons

As a store associate, I was paid minimum wage. But as far as minimum wage jobs go, this one was with great people and had a great purpose.
