At headquarters connections move everything and the lack thereof stalls everything; many people at the top have been there for decades making this an impenetrable front for fresh talent; The company is more international & diverse in the lower ranks not so much at the top; The unique Hilti culture is used as an argument for whatever can't be rationally explained or defeats common sense: we operate differently because we are one of a kind; Heavily hierarchical: you need to go through your boss, who will then go to the boss of the peer you want to speak with in the first place, to not step on any toes; You will often learn if you displeased someone higher-up: indirectly by the grape vine, or on the day you get fired.

Hilti no longer have their employees best interests at heart. Sales targets are now wildly unachievable, micro management is rife, terrible communication from the leadership team and all this is showing by the very high volume of people still exiting the business on a daily basis.
