Pros

Strong culture, in general caring people, everybody is very nice & approachable, my boss is great but experienced 2 changes of my leadership team in 2 years

Cons

Strong culture and that everyone is nice at the outside but behind closed doors there is so much politics, badmouthing, gossip happening. Because Hilti only promotes from within there is a lot of competition and GoT like manouvring and if you are linked to the wrong type of people you're basically screwed. And as turnover is really high you never know with whom you will be ending up, It's career wise like Russian roulette - I've seen 5 out of a pool of 10 colleagues leave within 2-3 years. It's really either you fit in tightly or you're out - the culture is like within a Catholic church, sweet & nice on the outside but can be really different on the inside. Diversity is nothing more than a slogan - no real action behind it, no senior management is responsible to meeting any diversity targets. Yes, you have 25% female across the whole workfore which is ridiculous because that's already including all to the assisstants (I have not met a single male executive assistants and I've dealt w nearly all 100 top executives at Hilti). At top management level you can single handedly count the female / non-whites. All in all, unless you love construction, are white, ideally Germanic or join the company in your 20s, don't join the company. Its' not worth the journey as also career-wise everything is moving so slow and don't every expect to get promoted to anything reasonable without connections and / or direct experience in selling Hilti tools.
