We promote an open culture at Hilti and we take all feedback we receive very seriously – naturally we’re disappointed to read a review of this nature but we can ensure you that we will pass your feedback on to our leadership team. We’re proud that Hilti India amongst many of our other markets was awarded a Great Place to Work award for 2017 – this award is voted for anonymously by our work force and therefore does not reflect the environment you describe in your review Our efforts in the recent past, especially the last two years has been to work on the agenda of transformation’ some aspects of which you have alluded to which impact the company culture, policies and systems, and also fundamentally change the way we work and lead our teams. All such exercises are extremely intense in nature and we have set the bar very high for ourselves. This has required some difficult decisions that have clearly impacted different people in varying degrees and these also sometimes occur in a sequence that does not bring immediate short-term relief. The changes have been made for the long-term success of the company and to ensure we offer the best possible work environment and we believe we have done this for the right reasons, and will be an ongoing journey.
