- Regular work - Good tips - Most of Management Approachable

Cons

- Disconnect of Mid-level management to regular staff. Lack understanding and appreciation of actual F and B work. - Frequent negligence over staffing levels. Repeatedly brought up as insufficient and changes never implemented. - Fragile ego of certain management individuals. Need to constantly prove they are "the man" through belittlement of junior staff.

Working in a hotel you meet some amazing and not so amazing guests. Always kept you on your toes. Staff was like family.

Cons

Beware of privately owned hotels. I was there 8 years and had 6 different management companies! Health insurance started over every time!
