      Great brand, great starter job for hotel professionals

      Pros

      Tons of training, and a good place to start off on your hotel path.

      Cons

      More and more hotel guests ask for a free breakfast, but since HGI caters to the business traveler our breakfast is not complimentary. That can be a challenge when selling to the non-corporate market, and picking up shoulder night and weekend business.

      Pros

      I met really great people, and always enjoyed going to work. The managers are really nice and flexible around my schedule as a student.

      Cons

      This really depends on your job, I honestly can't think of any cons of the company overall. In my job there isn't a ton of room for growth, but it's just a part-time job.
