Extremely understaffed and outdated hotel

Pay in Key West area is very low for housing and other expenses ( very expensive rents n over all food, gas: HR on my location is terrible. all aspects , pay, raise are almost nonexistent. Promotions are a joke, I am a supervisor and make less then most of my staff. hotel does across the board raises but supervisors are not included in the raise “ we are management “ I am an hourly paid employee and should be granted this type of raise. I applied for a manager position and got a smoke and mirror show. HR does not give employees the training necessary to advance to the next level. HR states to you interviewed well but we are still actively interviewing. Hilton promotes advancing from within, yeah if your in their click. These promotion are not based on ability but rather what management and EC wants. Hire directors that actually have experience in the hotel industry.
