Business Outlook

Pros

Hilton has a very well structure employee care system and the staff is generally trained to be supportive and friendly. You get great travel discounts in hotels worldwide. The standards are high everywhere you go.

Cons

In the hotels managed by Hilton but not owned, there can be situations where the owner take over the management and the quality of the whole work experience fall. Enviroment not really ideal to stimulate the employees.

Pros

Team Member involvement. Room for advancement. Great insurance and travel benefits. Ability to have autonomy in the workplace. Team member empowerment on guest issues. The travel perks are amazing with employee rooms as little as $29.

Cons

Depends on the hotel's management. If the place is organized, then it's amazing. If the GM and leaders in the hotel aren't organized, if they disagree, etc., then your experience will not be as great. Goes the same for any company. In leadership roles, you are expected to work much longer hours and will wear all hats in the hotel, qualified or not.
