      Rather average Hotel with nice amenities

      Pros

      Hotel has some nice amenities and the look is really unique, sort of a hotels by Ikea kind of look. Pay is around average for hotels in the area that cover the same amenities. AGM is really awesome.

      Cons

      Not the best pay in Hotel business in the area No food working there, even though nearly every other hotel in the area feeds it's employees Medical is basic No sick or personal days - This was not explained to me when/before I started.

      Pros

      Banquets did really well so the compensation was often high (don't be fooled by the base salary). If you need to pick up extra hours, they usually can use you somehow in F&B.

      Cons

      Health benefits are minimal, though available. Growth in the company can be difficult because of the vast number of people in entry level positions and few manager positions.

      Pros

      I love the atmosphere at work helping guests and making sure they are 100% satisfied. I've enjoyed meeting people from all walks of live. Families on vacations or in town for a wedding celebration or folks there on business.

      Cons

      Not a full staff and it's when it's the busiest. Also the off season is very slow for business, which means a decrease hours. Also the pay scale should definitely be adjusted. Company owned and franchised properties have a different pay scale.
