Pros

- You get to be one of thousands of employees for a large publicly-traded company - You get to come home every day stressed out, full of anxiety, and feeling unsupported by your manager - You get to dread waking up in the morning, make your way into an uninspiring office where you give 110%, only to be told that all the extra effort isn't enough - You get to work for a thankless leadership group - You get to have stagnant salary increases which are unparalleled to the rise of inflation while someone w/ less skill than you makes 25% more a year - You get to experience the best of the best in top-performing 'gaslighters' and you'll begin to keep your therapist on speed dial and make sure you have plenty of refills on your anti-depressant / anti-anxiety medications

Cons

- Terrible company culture - Extreme high turnover rates w/ difficulty in recruiting/hiring new staff - Empty promises / no opportunity for growth - Poor communication - Leadership / C-Suite team is out of touch - Poor reputation locally, clients are looking to finish up projects and then will look elsewhere for the next one; clients don't respect leadership - Highly undervalues staff - Drawings are full of errors leading to significant issues during construction and risk exposing them to potential lawsuits - Missing human factor; employees are only seen as a line item on their expense report and utilization rates are heavily scrutinized - Underperforming employees are rewarded whereas hard-working/dedicated employees are invisible - DEI efforts are just trendy letters to stick on a company newsletter
