      IBM a place to develop your career... if you are friends with the management

      Pros

      Pretty cool place to work, a lot of focus on personal growth, work/life integration, mental health.

      Cons

      Your career progress is limited by how much you are willing to be friends with the management, the networking is 90% of the process and many times you will find yourself asking "how is possible that guy is a manager?" when the person doesn't have the basic skills. For a company that takes pride in the honesty and transparency of their process this is a big red flag that no one seems to be taking care of.
