      Great place to work... but stress level is very high and the pay increases are low.

      Pros

      Flexible work schedule, working from home, information sharing and skill building. People are very friendly and management is highly trained. There are many opportunities to move around in the company, and it is encouraged.

      Cons

      Heavy workload, above average employees get very little pay increases from year to year. This could be a sign of the times, but overall, I'm not satisfied with my yearly pay increases.

      Pros

      Solid, stable place to start a career. You can grow as fast as you drive yourself... but motivation must be internally driven. Experience will widely vary by which division that you land in. Services businesses typically place a large emphasis on number of billable hours worked. Systems division is always trying to run a more lean business and do more with less. Software is not uniform as a number of current employees were brought on through numerous acquisitions over the last 5-10 years.

      Cons

      Salary is not competitive with market rates if you stay more than a few years. Constant revamping of employee benefit programs makes you wonder if HR has anything better to do.

      Working with really smart people Having the flexibility to work from anywhere Ability to write my own job description Ability to be an individual

      bureaucracy PBCs bureaucracy Yes, that's pretty much all I have to say--I think bureaucracy sums it up pretty well, and in an international corporation of over 300,000 employees, I suppose it's pretty difficult to get away from the problems of bureaucracy.
