Pros

Big company, You will always receive your paycheck on time

Cons

-Sooner or later you will be part of a layoff. -IBM is well known for taking really bad decisions at the executive level, which in the end affects their workforce. This is why there are layoffs every year -I had to fire my entire team (20+ members) 2 times in less the 8 years. -Not a place to be. Culture sucks and upper management does not care about employees. -Senior Management takes all the credit for his subordinates. -The 80/20 rule is 100% true at IBM. Only 20% of employees do 80% of the work. This is why there is no work-life balance at IBM. -I was part of this 20% for around 10 years, but I decided to quit. It is not affordable in the long term. -Salary is really low at IBM compared to the market. -Benefits are a joke
