Pros

Benefits Pay if you're a manager, leader, or specialist Micro-management is tolerable Opportunities to travel

Cons

The recent restructuring that happened last October has been a complete disaster. Skilled employees have had their jobs disappear and skills no longer utilized. These employees were mapped into jobs which was supposed to be like-for-like, but with some jobs disappearing, this was not possible. The morale since the restructure is the worst it has been in the 12 years I have worked here. I work in "Prep & Flow" which in any other company would be called logistics. The amount of responsibilities of this one department is astronomical and extremely difficult to overcome. This is the first time I have actively looked for other employment in all my years here. I have always stuck around because the changes have been temporary. This restructure is permanent and a failure.

Pros

-offers good training classes -401K and medical (if part time, not as good) -flexible schedule depending on where you work/who your manager is -free gifts every now and then

Cons

-management is terrible -management opportunities have dwindled from about 50+ management positions to about 10 -switching departments/moving up all depends on politics (who likes you or who doesn't like you) -there are supposed to be yearly wage increases, but HR can block you from receiving an increase -it's basically like working at a high school, there's constant drama and everyone talks about everyone -the harder you work, the more responsibility is placed on you while you remain at the same pay/level -if someone in a higher position does not like you, they can and will target you until you move departments or leave

Pros

Hired on spot. It's a job.

Cons

The recruiter has no knowledge on proper salary based on experience and education. They will start you at base pay unless you've worked retail for pretty much all your life. Horrible training they basically throw you on the floor. Everyone thinks their a manager. Super unorganized to say the least.
