Pros

The benefits, like PTO, sick leave, health and dental coverage, are all very good for the position and are given even to part time employees. Depending on what part of the company you work in, the atmosphere can be pretty relaxed.

Cons

The manager's show very little aptitude for properly training or running their departments, and HR hires based on quotas rather than who will do a good job. Very little room for advancement, especially after the recent restructuring.

Pros

The people who work here are extremely friendly and welcoming. They embrace everyone's weirdness and like to celebrate often. Hours are very flexible depending on the department as there are people in the store 24/7 (replenishment and L.P. have overnight and day shifts). FULL BENEFITS!!! Dental, vision, medical, 401(k), and even an annual bonus if the store hits above their goal for the year (this location doesn't hit the goal very often). Separate PTO and sick time. Benefit amounts vary depending on part or full time position, but benefits get better the longer you stay with the company. Paid maternity and paternity leave.

Cons

Majority of the customers in this area come through the store on the weekend so working weekends is a nightmare. Can barely walk when trying to move through people, but during the week days the store is pretty calm so you can get tons of work done. The customers are also extremely dirty and don't care that they have messed up a display or left trash everywhere and it makes extra work for the employees. The majority of customers also think that they are better than you just because you work at a retail store and they don't, so they get angry easily even if whatever made them angry was their fault. I strongly recommend the company, but not the customer base of the Bay Area.
