Can’t speak on IKEA retail, but corporate is a joke. Managers are passive aggressive and micro-managers. Managers talk down to older, POC employees, treating them like they’re incompetent when they’re more experienced and knowledgeable than the manager. No wonder they have so many lawsuits against them. Caused serious physical and mental health issues for me during my time there. HR is useless, you report anything to them and they don’t care at all. It’s a shame of a company. Don’t work here, would give negative stars if I could.

• Recent management decisions have significantly worsened the work environment. • New management has been unaccommodating and dismissive. • Disrespect for Sikhism, requiring proof of religious beliefs, has been deeply offensive. • Perceived racism and cultural insensitivity, particularly from white management. • Management often targets and writes up employees who speak up. • Core values like togetherness and leading by example seem neglected. • Job satisfaction has severely declined due to these negative changes. • Many employees had to quit, leading to unemployment and depression due to a toxic environment. • Previous manager had to step down due to struggles with new management. • Managers were pressured by higher-ups to manipulate personal development performance reviews, undermining genuine feedback and growth.
