      Good for Freshers... Infrastructure... Onsite Opportunities...

      Cons

      No presence in North and East India.... Stupid and nonsense policies like Certifications, 9.15 hr.... No Technical Challenges for a Technical Company.... Politics... No encouragement whatsoever... They will take any stupid work and will involve people of higher capabilities to do labour work... e.g. I once saw a Designer do a Production Support Job... sad Middle management is one of the poorest... No of employees has blown out... No growth... Poor Salaries... Mailbox will be full of stupid mails from company itself... Lack of class... Stress given on completing certification and not completing the work and the quality of work... No wonder within a month 10000 experienced employees has resigned from Infosys... It has become one of the worst company to work for...

      has good infrastructure, also a very good knowledge management, of course very highly process oriented onsite opportunities are there but not that many

      one in an ocean full of people, mid management not that great, work hours some times tend to be taxing on you

      Pros

      Big emphasis on ethics -- "the softest pillow is a clear conscience," as the founder says. I don't feel like just a brick in a wall with a role that is only as stable as my quarterly revenue performance. This company is very selective about who they hire, and they seem willing to invest in employees to ensure a good ROI on that investment -- which, ultimately, is very much a good thing for the employee. First Indian company I've worked for, the others all being US companies, and I've never worked with as many smart and respectful people -- it's invigorating. I can see myself being here for a long time.

      Cons

      Onerous onboarding process (joining laterally). Cumbersome, slow process for expense reimbursement and travel approvals. Difficult to understand processes and systems if you come into the company laterally (although probably not an issue if you join the company as a fresher).
