      Pros

      Intelligent and Smart Senior mgmt (you gota connect with them though, they wont come to seek you !) Great offices and campuses (esp the ones in india , they will blow your mind ) Marquee clients with whom you get to work in early stages of your career Equal opportunities (no matter you are black, brown or white)

      Cons

      Cant understand why managment is so soft towards some incompetent employees (sounds almost stupid but you know what !! almost all of them are females) Very less communication with employees

      Cons

      In the name variable pay company is kind of cheating employees. Because formula for variable pay is not transparent. Employees will loose 25% of your salary in average despite good performance. 25% to 60% of your Gross Salary offered will be Variable. Stress due to relative ranking in appraisal process. Every year its kind of IIT score. Every year you have to do 2 certifications despite continous slogging throughout the year.

      Pros

      Infosys has always been a dream company for many. Its true due to its values and opportunities. Its THE BEST place to start career , where there are many opportunities ( challenges ) and fast growth. High Onsite opportunities support you financially . The role played by a software engineer or a programmer analyst is very competetive and wont get the chance in any other company.

      Cons

      But in case your are going to be in Offshore, the salary may not be really sufficient. Some of the company policies are very strict and are not suitable for Work-Life balance for employees who are with family.
