Pros

Financially stable and the culture pushes to thrive for better technology.

Cons

Very political environment. The engineers are pushed hard and the management will not support their engineers when it is needed. In addition, culture is geared toward younger engineers and slowly they push out the older engineers.

Pros

Good travel opportunities and great exposure to a global corporate environment. A pleasant environment across the regions. Great London location and central.

Cons

Work life balance is an issue and the US teams simply don't understand Global markets. There's been a high turnover in the last year and can't retain the decent employees. Needs to consider a more experienced and mature base for recruitment. A focus on profile rather than ability.

Thank you for this feedback, we’re always working to improve ourselves. Our current TA Manager has alerted us she did not write this review. Regardless of position, we value transparency in all areas and will still take this feedback into consideration.

Pros

Good location - Mountain View - center of Silicon Valley next to Google campus. Great Campus Work-life balance Some groups using latest technology

Cons

This could be specific team @ Intuit. Team was developing supporting services for intuit products in CTODev. -Contractors are treated as second citizen. Not invited even for team lunches/events. -Culture seems like, let contractor figure out what needs to worked on as well as how. -You only interact with lead. And other folks point to him/her even if you are stuck. -If lead takes vacation, no one even cares to assign any work to you or give you context about work even if they know. -Team members create tasks for each other in 4 hour looooong spring planning. No architect, product manager, program manager or even manager involved in sprint planning. Team releases software whenever they feel right. No set schedule. No tight deadline. -Culture to hide flaws or not talk about it. QAs are told not to file bugs. -Everyone knows it's far from perfect, still no one talks about improving openly. -Manager hardly comes to office and not involved in hiring process or that matter any thing to do with working with contractor except terminating contract abruptly (no notice, no in-person talk) while lead was on vacation.
