Pros

Excellent Work-Life balance, very competitive compensation and health benefits, great culture, great people. And the renovation of the Mountain View, CA headquarters is pretty nice.

Cons

Very open and touchy-feely company that can take a while to make a decision or change in strategy because everyone has to be involved. A mix bag with mid level management. Some are really good while others make you scratch your head, but in the end the right people end up leading Intuit in the right direction.

Pros

Dynamic management processes; many smart, dedicated, high-performing people; the SMB space is a rich, important market sector. Products really help SMBs and consumers. Solid company performance.

Cons

Subtle but pervasive gender bias reflected in pay differences and inappropriate personal conduct. A lot of talk about integrity and fairness that is blatantly and consistently ignored by "some" senior male management who feel entitled to "color outside the integrity boundaries" and get away with it.
