      Intuit is NOT a great place to work, especially the last few years!

      Pros

      Work/Life balance Team work Great benefit Great Product

      Cons

      Constant re-org after re-org Heavy managment layers and not enough people doing the actual work Heavy politics and CYA Buddy/Buddy system to survive the layoffs (other employees can attest to this) Can't openly discuss problems without backlash!

      Pros

      Great benefits including 401K match, health insurance, flexible spending account, fitness incentive, education reimbursement, and flexibility in work schedule

      Cons

      During downsizing - talent does not appear to be a consideration in who is retained/released. Many excellent employees are lost; along with their corporate knowledge. This also results in truly talented and employable individuals pursuing other opportunities because there is no sense of job security. Seems to have lost sight of basic values -- It's the people -- People are (or can be) the foundation of Intuitâ??s success (or not)

      Pros

      Opoprtunity to work with people who share an admirable set of values and enjoy pushing themselves to improve and be the best they can be. Current feeling of urgency and excitement at intuit that we need to deliver some big wins to move away from our steady-state

      Cons

      Heavy burden of reporting to senior management on product initiatives can slow the agility of teams. Some parts of intuit are overly bureaucratic
