Pros

Rigorous prioritization with a new emphasis on data driven decisions versus personalities and opinions. Outstanding benefits and opportunity to learn from some top leaders.

Cons

Can appear political and culture has high degree of messaging spin and corporate words. Less focus on growing leaders from within materializing, and doesn't appear to have a track record of executive success from the outside.

Pros

Lots of places to add value. Sharp people can make their mark. Some good leadership training can be had if you know where to look.

Cons

Lots of really talented people have not been nurtured or retained. Short-term thinking typically outweighs long-term plays. Buzzwords fly furiously around but real substantive planning is a rarer bird.
