Pros

Here are the best reasons to work for intuit.... Work Life balance, frequent feedback on performance from management, on-site gym, new facilities, awesome food in the cafeteria, treated as a regular employee as an intern, beer/wine tasting every friday, great intern events including horse track racing, helping out at the food bank, intern hack day where a team of interns create a project for 24 hours. Twenty five cent sodas and free coffee. Buildings look really nice

Cons

The following are some downsides to working at Intuit: Lots of meetings that sometimes gets in the way of work, feedback is sometimes too positive,

Pros

Smart people, great products. Views talent as important driver of their success.

Cons

Extremely bureaucratic, lots of talk and debate, but little action (we use to call it "paralysis by analysis")...Also lots of "decision by committee" resulting in lowest common denominator thinking. Teams don't "play their positions" enough, everyone seems to be an expert on everything...

Pros

The company has a strong, positive culture. The management does seem to care about the employees. The benefits are very good many choices for health coverage. In San Diego, the new Torrey Santa Fe campus is great with an excellent cafe. The company hires smart people and, for the most part, keeps them engaged in interesting work.

Cons

The company is trying to reinvent itself with unknown up-to-now success. Lots of reorganization going on currently. Just had a sizable chunk of lay-offs. The company seems a bit aimless at this point, relying on the success of its QuickBooks and TurboTax brands for continued income.
