Pros

Opportunity to work with really smart people and be involved in work that typically wouldn't fall within the scope of my role at another company. Intuit empowers people to try new things, fail and learn from those mistakes.

Cons

Even with the best time management, I will never have enough time in the day to complete all my work. They stress the importance of Work-life balance but deadlines don't always allow for it.

Pros

There are many opportunities for cross-training. Within IT, people can transfer between being System Administrators, Network Administrators, Database Administrators or Storage Administrators. I have seen several people transfer from one discipline to the other. The benefits are very good for medical, dental and vision.

Cons

Too many organizational changes. Seems like just when you get used to understanding how to work with the different groups, up comes another re-org. The work-life balance isn't what it should be right now, although new management is trying to make a change to it.
