Pros

In a big company like this alot will depend on your team and manager; so my experience may not be yours. But at least for me, the work life balance is great. I know some people complain they work too much, but I have never felt the compuction to work more then my normal hours, except the odd half hour here or there. I made it known very early on when my day is done im gone. I think people that are doing long hours have trouble laying that line down. I have had a lot of opportunities to learn new technologies and work and exciting new projects. Honestly this the best job i've had to date. The pay and benefits are good as well.

Cons

Bureaucracy can be a bit of an issue here. Thier forcing us to come back to the office 3 days a week to spite us all working from home successfully for the last 2 years. Pay here is good, but it could be better. Getting promoted to VP and above is alot about the people you know.

Pros

The only pro is their name recognition. They spend millions on TV advertising, so the networks love them and will never say anything critical.

Cons

Dystopian nightmare of a firm, that will work you to death without a second thought. Having a good manager there is critical. Unfortunately, most of the managers are driven by the annual bonus. This creates a culture of sadists where they fire the support staff and invest little in technologies because it makes the bottom line look better. Also, too many levels of management results in an inflexible, psychotic workplace. Warning: employees there must drink the Kool-Aid at all times or suffer the consequences.
