Pros

Great product, 'some' great people.

Cons

Duplication of roles and responsibilities. Expansion is heralded as a great thing, but the reality is there is no recruitment or organisational strategy so managers/departments keep recruiting when skills already exist in the organisation. Everyone aspires to reach LL5 and get their hands on a Range Rover Sport. Benefits at Senior Management level lock these managers into the business as they could never afford a £100k car (changed every 6 months) in any other business. As a result, Managers keep their heads down and don't rock the boat in fear of losing the benefits. Managers approach is all about self interest and not actually achieving anything tangible. Culture - unfortunately there are some 'not very nice' people in the business (but thankfully only a handful. Processes are awful. Too much 'business speak'- like being in an episode of W1A

Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback for us, sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your time with us. We’ve been working on a really exciting HR strategy and there’s a lot of work being done to implement across the business to make things clearer, easier and faster. Recruitment and organisational strategy planning has been centralised and we’re working hard to support all of our line managers in achieving the tangible as we continue to grow.

Rapid product growth, good benefits

Pros

The product mix has grown rapidly, both in terms of breadth and volume, so there is plenty of opportunities cropping up all the time. Pay is good, pension is decent. Exciting to be involved with high end product trying to grab market share from the big 3

Cons

Rapid growth means there can be teething problems - teams workload growing faster than headcount, not getting to robustly learn lessons before the next program is already on top of you etc.

Pros

Great products, lots of opportunities, fantastic package in terms of sick leave, maternity/parental leave.

Cons

Not very flexible in terms of contracts, for instance, have to work 5 days, min of 7 hours per day etc etc, where as I think there are many ways to work 40 hours across the week and maintain productivity
