Pros

Big company and the opportunity to learn a lot. Also a great bunch of undergrads each year, there were ~100 my year.

Cons

The company is a little too big and it's obvious that you can be forgotten about. I wan in the wrong department and spent 2 weeks doing nothing because my placement wasn't well organised. Career progression looked bleak, considering the number of graduates taken each year.

Pros

The office is bright and large. Generally there are no doors between different departments, so it's easy to reach your destination (and your boss). I can always saw the chief executor walking besides me. A lot of employee-involved activities. Free working environment.

Cons

Sometimes have to work overtime. Payment for intern is tight, especially when you have to rent an apartment in Shanghai.
