Pros

Great Canteen, lovely staff. Lot's of good parking, Lovely office - very modern Young workforce (A pro but also a con fresh blood but no deep knowledge) Site manager has a great vision and drive with frequent communication. Operations team are fantastic, great S&S club. Fantastic name for the CV You will learn lots about SW dev. Tech talks most thursdays are super interesting. The cars are beautiful.

Cons

This does not feel like an automotive company, they hired too many graduates and people from non automotive backgrounds with no real grasp on how the automotive industry actually is. Everyone is a software developer even if that is not their specialty, HR do not give job titles other than SW dev. If you are hired for a non SW role, you will be molded into it. They spend 3 torturous days planning for 12 weeks of work, then long sessions every 2 weeks to plan again. It is the most depressing and mind numbing sessions any engineer can imagine, planning for 12 weeks and scope changes everytime. Certain managers expect shirt and tie dress code. Whilst others can rock up in comfortable jeans and t-shirt, Certain managers are not suited nor fit for their role, and use bullyboy tactics to micromanage staff. Old fashioned expectations from certain managers again that you cannot work from home - HR have been poor to define a WFH policy (pre covid) The definition of diversity here is making women more important and snubbing men. Its terribly embarrassing as a woman who works here, and honestly feels like they employ women for just being women. The she++ is the most condescending group and a damage to the women who WANT to work in STEM.
