Pros

Non-management employees are knowledgeable about their jobs and go out of their way to assist others. Chance to interact with many people from diverse countries and backgrounds.

Cons

Inability to stay with a project game plan for any length of time due to lack of prior planning. Project management's downward communication is near zero and creates an atmosphere of uncertainty in project requirements, performance expectations and upper management support. Most projects are cobbled together for a quick "win" with little or no forethought given to long term implications. Business related skill growth grinds to a halt once employed here.

Pros

An opportunity to learn not what to do with IT

Cons

Entire company closing down for 2 weeks 2 days before Thanksgiving. Contractors get unpaid holiday. Employees without vacation time don't get paid either. No money for IT projects. Money to buy a company that had decade old technology. Prepare for massive layoffs. Management hides in offices all day and no one is in charge of anything. Absolute old boy network that has never been anywhere else. IT staff demoralized and making their own exit strategies.

Pros

If you master lies, cheating and stabbing your peers in the back, you will go far in Jabil. No formal education required.

Cons

Third world country atmosphere and slave labor mentality. Very little respect for new ideas other than their own. Promotions based on who you know not what you know. Numerous relations among the higher ups and very little or no merit. Managers fraternizing with employees, those employees get away with murder, the rest get the shaft. Professionalism does not exist here. The Jabil Ethics policy exists for legal purposes, not a practice. Jabil Quality policy applies to those not in the kiss-up ring. Everyone else gets cover-ups! 400 layoffs to be complete by April 19 2013, those unfortunate employees are the solution to a management system that is a total "FAIL"
