Pros
A lot of latitude in my position to affect and contribute value to the organization. People are very hard working and want to be recognized for their efforts. There is considerable opportunity for career advancement, with a caveat. Jabil has been good to me but ironically because of their structure impairs my ability to be better for them.
Cons
The good ol boys club is alive and prevalent, meaning that going outside of the established construct is counter-productive to your career opportunities. Few are willing to step up and take a stand for what is right for the employees and the company with a longer term perspective. Jabil struggles from inadequate leadership, who cannot invariably see the forest for the trees; and because of this we have a very reactive orientation to changes in the marketplace.
